Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and trend-aware Video Editor who understands the dynamics of modern social media content  especially Instagram-first video editing.

The role is fully remote and flexible. Whether you're a freelancer, part-time editor, or full-time professional, we welcome talented individuals who are passionate about storytelling through video.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a relaxed, creativity-driven environment rather than the rigid deadlines and pressure often found in traditional corporate setups.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit engaging Instagram-first video content including reels, short-form ads, and promotional videos.

• Stay updated with latest Instagram trends, editing styles, and viral content formats.

• Select and integrate trending audio and music that enhance engagement.

• Apply creative transitions, pacing, and storytelling techniques to maximize viewer retention.

• Collaborate with the Luma team to bring brand narratives to life visually.

• Adapt editing styles to suit different brands, especially within the food & hospitality sector.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong skills in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).

• Understanding of Instagram algorithm trends and short-form content performance.

• Awareness of current editing styles, transitions, pacing, and hooks used in viral reels.

• A creative mindset with an eye for storytelling and aesthetics.

• Ability to work independently and bring original ideas to the table.

• Passion for creating content that stands out in crowded social media feeds.
